If your stress levels have been skyrocketing lately, you're not alone. According to one recent study, more than half (52%) of all workers are experiencing feelings of tiredness, lack of motivation and difficulty staying focused — tell-tale symptoms of burnout.

Consider planning a well-deserved vacation. Relishing nature, rejuvenating in new environments and reconnecting with people you love can help you hit reset. After all, research suggests that taking a wellness vacation of four nights or longer can help reduce stress, which in turn can improve your overall health.

Whether you're seeking Zen moments in nature, a place to revitalize a relationship or simply an opportunity to cultivate healthy habits, these six destinations — each home to the Hilton portfolio of brands — offer all the amenities and ambiance your mind and body crave. And with the Hilton Honors™ points program, Hilton Grand Vacations Owners have easy access to a near-endless variety of tranquil backdrops to choose from.

Couple embracing in a kiss in front of pictureque waterfall, Bali, Indonesia.

1. Bali, Indonesia

With its verdant rice paddy fields and "energy vortex" vibes, Bali is an epicenter for all things wellness-related. This island attracts a variety of vacationers seeking serenity in the form of yoga, reiki, massage, plant-based delicacies and healing ceremonies that borrow from both local cultures and spiritual practices from around the globe.

Perched on the cliffside overlooking Sawangan Beach, the Hilton Bali Resort is a wellness seeker's paradise. When you're finished exploring each day, retreat to your room or suite, where the decor mirrors the natural materials of the surrounding jungle.

In the evening, dine on fresh seafood while watching the sunset and infinite ocean views from The Shore Restaurant & Bar, or embrace the island's culinary heritage at Paon Bali Resto & Bar. Or, treat yourself to the full package at the resort's Mandara Spa. Here, you can spend entire days lazing by one of the four pools or on the sandy lagoon.

2. Santa Fe, New Mexico

Colorful Santa Fe storefronts with purple sunset skies overhead, New Mexico.

The towering red rocks of New Mexico are stoic companions for anyone seeking grounding and centering. A well-known hotspot for spiritual awakening, Santa Fe and its surrounding areas have inspired artists for centuries. While here, consider experimenting with bodywork, creative workshops and more.

At the 587-acre Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder, nestled among the towering red rocks and vast plains, you'll find the ideal mix of opulence and understated Southwestern aesthetics. The resort features the Southwest's signature Adobe architecture accented by stunning desert flora.

And what's a wellness vacation without some time on a massage table? One of the best spa hotels in the area, The Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder is home to the Wo'P'in Spa, where guests can enjoy treatments inspired by Native American traditions. Here, you can also bask in the sauna and steam room, or simply soak in 16,000 square feet of blissful quietude.

Meticulous golf course with lake and mountains in the distance, Palm Springs, California.

3. Palm Springs, California

Historically a getaway for Hollywood's rich and famous in the 1960s and '70s, Palm Springs is now a prime destination for anyone seeking the special kind of solitude the desert affords.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Golf Resort Palm Springs, located at the foot of the San Jacinto mountain range, features an Olympic-sized pool with cabanas, loungers and two hot tubs — perfect for cozy conversations on chilly desert nights.

The hotel is pet-friendly, so if your four-legged friend is an essential wellness accessory, bring them along. Tennis and golf lovers will enjoy the sports complex, and the on-site restaurant serves California-style cuisine. In the winter, ski resorts like Snow Valley are a quick drive away.

4. Playa del Carmen, Mexico

Stunning sunset shot through tropical flowers overlooking the ocean, Mexico.

The lush jungles of Quintana Roo represent a magical part of Mexico, and the state's pristine beaches and plethora of adventure activities are only part of the appeal. Test the waters with paddleboarding or scuba diving, explore ancient ruins or experience a metaphorical rebirth in a traditional Mayan temazcal (stone steam bath).

When only an easy, breezy, all-inclusive Mexican beach vacation will do, the Hilton Playa del Carmen should top your list. The all-suite, adults-only resort is right on the beach and steps from Playa del Carmen's famous Fifth Avenue. Here, you can enjoy delicious dining, vibrant nightlife, unique shopping and more.

The 500-room hotel also features swim-up suites — so you never have to leave the pool. There are also 13 restaurants and bars, so you can enjoy a different dish every night of the week. The on-site SPAzul is a holistic experience complete with temazcal treatments, couples' massage rooms and salon services to help you look and feel your best.

Close up of wild flowers with the Rocky Mountains in the distance, Boulder, Colorado.

5. Boulder, Colorado

A wellness vacation looks different to everyone — and for some, it includes getting your heart pumping. There's no shortage of opportunities to do so while communing with the Great Outdoors in Colorado. Boulder is so much more than an adventure seeker's playground, however; it's also a beautiful backdrop for more low-key nature bathing — casual strolls, easy bike rides or simply admiring the seasonal scenery.

Hiking, biking and skiing are just minutes away from the Embassy Suites by Hilton Boulder. Explore the trails at Eldorado Canyon State Park, which consists of the Inner Canyon and Crescent Meadows. Realign while taking in the natural beauty of the area's sandstone cliffs — which beckon rock climbers from around the globe — or flow with the river at the Eldorado Canyon Yoga Ashram.

Back at the hotel, the rooftop pool is the perfect place to unwind after a day traversing the trails. Refuel for the next day's adventures at Brickstones Kitchen and Bar, where top-tier chefs prepare healthy menu selections made with local ingredients.

6. Lake Placid, New York

Gorgeous panorama of Lake Placid reflecting fall foliage colored trees, New York.

New York's Adirondacks and their fertile foothills offer plentiful opportunities for paddling, fishing, foraging and more. At Lake Saranac, road and mountain biking along the shore is a popular way to pass the day. Downtown, you can pop into local boutiques, art galleries and antique stores for a dose of culture and history.

Hilton's Hotel Saranac has earned its spot in the Curio Collection with its unique 1920s feel. Much of the hotel's original architecture still stands, and the rooms have an Old-World appeal that will make you wonder if you've stepped back in time. The outdoor terrace is a favorite haunt, with mountain views and a fire pit that's perfect for enjoying a nightcap.

End the day in the hotel's restaurant, Camp Fire Adirondack Grill + Bar, inspired by the great camps of the area. The speakeasy-style bar next door, the Great Hall Bar, features classic cocktails, international wines and a premium beer selection.

Discover how the Hilton Honors™ program and vacation ownership can make your wellness retreat a stress-free experience from start to finish — with 18 world-class brands to choose from, a well-deserved vacation with Hilton Grand Vacations to the mountains, beach or desert is just a few clicks away.
