Beyond the Backroads: Finding Peace at Stonewater Cove
If you are looking to unplug and enjoy a relaxing vacation, check out Stonewater Cove, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club in Shell Knob, Missouri. It is quite the trek to get to the resort, but it is worth it. Get ready for a scenic car ride of up to 90 minutes along winding roads and sharp curves. When we finally arrived, the property truly had a “wow" factor that made the journey worthwhile.

Lodge Dining And Scenic Lake Views
The lodge, which serves as the registration building, is gorgeous, with beautifully carved doors. On the main level is a restaurant for lunch and dinner with a stunning view of Table Rock Lake. If you time your visit right, you might catch a sunset. The lower level features a coffee bar and lounge, along with a simple breakfast menu.

Pools, Lake Access And Outdoor Relaxation
The outdoor pool is a decent size and has a very shallow area for little ones, gradually getting deeper as you swim under the rock arch, a feature that adds to the ambiance. The hot tub also offers a great view of sunsets. We also checked out the lake, which has a dock for boats and a deck for guests to enjoy. In the middle of the spacious deck is a lake pool. We could jump off and not reach the bottom, and there are stairs on either end to help you in and out. It was great to cool off and then enjoy the deck’s lounge chairs. Fishing is also available on the dock, and we saw people catching bluegills.
Spacious Room Features And Comfort Highlights
Our room was amazing. It was a 1-Bedroom, but very spacious. It featured multiple showerheads and a huge spa-like bathtub. The galley kitchen was state-of-the-art: The microwave functioned as a convection air fryer, and the washer and dryer were combined in a single unit. We loved the back porch, where we could sit in the afternoon, enjoy the partial shade, and listen to the small waterfalls located throughout the property.

Peaceful Atmosphere And Natural Surroundings
The best part was the peace and tranquility. No matter where you were, there was always a babbling brook or small waterfall to enjoy — no traffic noise, just an occasional plane or boat. Though not all rooms offer a view of Table Rock Lake, while listening to the waterfalls surrounded by foliage was still a relaxing experience.
Activities And Experiences To Explore
We could only stay two nights, so we did not sign up for any of the paid activities. However, there is much to choose from. The activities range from cooking and mixology classes to sunset dessert cruises, guided hikes, UTV rides, bocce ball and more. It is definitely something to look forward to on our next trip. If you get a chance, check out Stonewater Cove for a relaxing, rejuvenating getaway.
