Imagine holding hands with the love of your life on a gorgeous beach — surrounded by palm trees, sparkling blue water and loved ones — and saying, “I do.” Sounds like a dream wedding, right?
For Mitchell C., this tropical marriage ceremony was a reality, thanks in part to Hilton Grand Vacations. “We stayed at a Penthouse Suite at The Grand Islander, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club in Oahu. My lovely wife and I got married at the beach in October. I could see Diamond Head in the background. I’m a loyal Member, though not just because of that,” he laughs.

Why is timeshare with Hilton Grand Vacations right for you?
“I wasn’t traveling before I owned timeshare,” Mitchell admits. “In 2017, I stayed at Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C., and went to a sales presentation. I didn’t purchase it because the package didn’t fit my lifestyle. However, I got a call afterward asking about my experience with the presentation, and they offered a deal I couldn’t pass up. Now I travel all the time.”
When asked about his vacation style, Mitchell says, “I’m adventurous, so I don’t want just one type of vacation. My vacation style depends on the mood — and that’s the advantage of Hilton Grand Vacations. Whatever mood I’m in, whatever vacation I want, I know Hilton Grand Vacations has an option. There’s a little bit of everything, from beach to city to mountains.”
What do you love about Hilton Grand Vacations?
“From the beginning of my membership, Hilton Grand Vacations has been kind, courteous and made me feel special. I love everything, from the Team Members to the Points system,” says Mitchell.
Hilton Grand Vacations’ signature hospitality doesn’t just start at the check-in desk. Mitchell treasures the consideration and attention to detail leading up to his visit. “Before I even arrive, I get a call from a concierge, and we talk through logistics and set everything up. I appreciate the hospitality before I even get there. I love that everyone is accommodating, especially to my family and other Guests who travel with me. I feel like a superstar when I check-in.”

What’s your favorite destination?
“I’ve traveled to Washington, D.C., a couple of times with Hilton Grand Vacations — and Oahu, of course. I hadn’t been to Las Vegas before owning timeshare, and now I love it. I vacation there as much as possible. I’d like to visit Los Cabos, Mexico. But I keep going back to Las Vegas.”
He’s taken several vacations to Las Vegas, staying at Hilton Grand Vacations’ different properties. His first stay as a Hilton Grand Vacations Member was at The Boulevard, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club. “It was perfect,” Mitchell remembers. “I had two adjoining Suites where I hosted all my friends.” The Suites offered plenty of space for his entire travel party.
“I’ve also stayed at the Flamingo, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club, for the pool dayclub. The resort is quiet but still in the middle of everything on the Las Vegas Strip. Where I stay depends on my mood for that vacation,” Mitchell says.
While the flexibility to meet his travel needs is nice, it’s easy to tell what Mitchell’s favorite Vegas property is: Elara, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club.
“Elara is one of the greatest places I’ve stayed,” he gushes. “I love the floor-to-ceiling windows. The Suites are more like apartments than hotel rooms. The property also has a great pool. It’s on the Las Vegas Strip, the perfect location right by the Miracle Mile Shops.”
“The last time I stayed at Elara,” recalls Mitchell, “I stayed in my room more than I explored the Las Vegas Strip. It was July 4th, and I could see the fireworks and Bellagio Fountains from my Suite. It was the perfect vacation.”
