Editor’s Note: These are unusual times, and some businesses are currently closed. No matter what you do, practice safe travels, follow CDC and local guidelines, and call ahead to confirm operational hours.

Romance and Las Vegas might seem like an odd pairing, but there are so many things to do in Las Vegas for couples.

The restaurants alone offer opulence and relaxation. Combine fine dining with a romantic boat ride under the lights, and you’ve uncovered a way to add spark in your relationship.

Here are eight romantic activities to make your next couples trip to Vegas memorable.

1. Canyon Helicopter Tour

Romance can be found both on and off The Strip. If you are looking for an activity to take your partner’s breath away, it doesn’t get much better than the Grand Canyon. From Las Vegas, it’s a 45-minute trip by air.

Getting there is half the fun as you soar over the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and the Arizona desert. Raise a glass of champagne hovering over the rim of the canyon, then return to the city just as The Strip lights the night sky.

2. Guy Savoy Cooking Class

If the way to someone’s heart is through their stomach, then a private cooking class at Guy Savoy is the ultimate shortcut. A cooking class is one of our favorite creative things to do in Las Vegas for couples.

Step inside the Michelin-starred kitchen where Chef Julien Asseo will walk you through the process of preparing one of the restaurant’s signature appetizers and entrees. After your lesson's complete, you and your partner can sit down and enjoy all of your hard work.

3. An Evening Ride on the High Roller at The Linq

Plan to watch the city lights ignite as the sun goes down aboard the High Roller, Vegas’ rotating observation wheel. Enjoy a glass of champagne as you admire The Strip mid-air, or choose to ride with a bartender who can mix you a one of a kind cocktail.

Tip: If you're craving dessert before dinner, stop in at Sprinkles Cupcakes at The Linq and take two to enjoy on your ride.

3. Eiffel Tower Experience

If you can’t make it to France, Las Vegas is the next best way to experience the Eiffel Tower. Ride all the way to the top of the recreated Eiffel Tower at the Paris Las Vegas hotel. The observation deck gives you a view of the city at 46-stories high. After taking in the sites, enjoy a French dinner at the Eiffel Tower restaurant.

4. Gondola Ride at The Venetian

Continue your European tour to Venice, Italy (Vegas-style). There aren’t many things more romantic than taking a gondola ride through the canals of Venice at The Venetian. Don't forget to kiss for good luck as the gondolier takes you on a tour down the waterways. It's an Italian tradition is to steal a smooch whenever you pass under a bridge.

5. Couples Massage

Indulge yourself with a massage at the spa located within Hilton Grand Vacations Club on The Boulevard. Unwind together in one of six beautiful treatment rooms at the eForea Spa. Book a classic massage or experience ultimate relaxation with hot stone therapy.

6. Shows

There are so many shows to choose from in Las Vegas including Mad Apple by Cirque du Soleil at the New York, New York hotel. It’s an adults-only show. This show brings together NYC-inspired music, dance and comedy, plus the amazing acrobatics you’d expect from Cirque, with a bit of extra spice.

7. Conservatory Garden at the Bellagio

The Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens are one of the best free and romantic things to do in Las Vegas. The installations and displays change year-round for every season. No matter how many times you visit Vegas, you can always see something new here.

8. Dine at é by Jose Andres

Right across the street from Elara, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club is é by Jose Andres at The Cosmopolitan Hotel – one of the most romantic dining options on The Strip. It’s an intimate dining experience in a private space in the hotel. This famous chef has put together an unforgettable, Spanish-style menu you’ll never forget.
