Effective January 26, 2021, the CDC is requiring air passengers ages 2 and up to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test collected within 3 days before boarding a plane to the United States. For details, visit the CDC website at https://www.cdc.gov/. The governor of Hawaii implemented a pre-travel testing program that begins on October 15, 2020. All persons entering the state of Hawaii who wish to avoid the mandatory, 10-day self-quarantine must show proof of a valid, negative COVID 19 test within 72 hours of their flight to Hawaii. Travelers 5 years of age or older visiting Hawaii County (also known as The Big Island) must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test from a trusted partner taken no more than 72 hours before their trip to the county and take a second rapid test upon arrival at a county-designated facility near the airport to avoid the 10-day quarantine. HGV timeshare properties in Hawaii County may not be used for quarantine by travelers who must meet the state’s self-quarantine order. This impacts all HGV properties in Waikoloa, Hawaii. Upon check-in at an HGV resort, please have your Safe Travel status ready to present. Owners and guests who are unable to do so must comply with the state of Hawaii’s self-quarantine order. All HGV Owners, Club Members and guests must wear a face covering while in any indoor public space at the resort; any government mandate requiring the use of face coverings supersedes our policy. Please be sure to bring a face covering and wear it upon arrival. On-site amenities may be impacted due to COVID-19. Before traveling, please confirm with your hotel about available services and any updates on local rules or restrictions that may be in place. We greatly appreciate your patience during this time.

  1. 1-Bedroom Suites

    Size: 600-654 sq. ft. Accommodates: 4 guests
    Spacious 1-bedroom/1-bathroom suites with a balcony features a master bedroom with two double or a king-size bed, 50" flat-panel HDTV and spa-like bathroom with a sleek shower, deep soaking bathtub, private toilet with bidet seat, and elegant vanity area. The suite also includes a generous living room and dining area, 55" flat-panel HDTV, DVD player, and queen-size sleeper sofa, as well as a washer/dryer and fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave.

    Size: 912-1,356 sq. ft. Accommodates: 6 guests
    This 2-bedroom/2-bathroom resort-view suite with a balcony features a master bedroom with a king-size bed, 50" flat-panel HDTV and spa-like bathroom with a sleek shower, deep soaking bathtub, private toilet with bidet seat, and elegant vanity area. The second bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed or two double beds, a 50" flat-panel HDTV and spa-like bathroom. The suite also includes a generous living room and dining area, a flat-panel HDTV, DVD player, and queen-size sleeper sofa, as well as a washer/dryer and fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. Some units are penthouse suites.

    Penthouse Suites

    Size: 1,202 - 1,681 sq. ft. Accommodates: 6 - 8 guests
    Each 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom penthouse suite occupies floors 34 - 38 and features a private balcony, a master bedroom with king-size bed, 50-inch flat-panel HD TV, and spa-like bathroom with a sleek shower and deep soaking bathtub, a spacious living room with queen-size sleeper sofa and 65-inch flat-panel HD TV, a separate formal dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and washer/dryer. The second bedroom in the 2-bedroom penthouse suite is furnished with two double beds, 50-inch flat-panel HD TV, and bathroom. The second bedroom in the 3-bedroom penthouse suite is furnished with a king-size bed, 50-inch flat-panel HD TV, and bathroom. The third bedroom in the 3-bedroom penthouse suite is furnished with two double beds, 50-inch flat-panel HD TV, and bathroom.

    • If you’re arriving by car, please pull up to the 2nd floor Lobby porte cochère on Kalia Road, just beyond Rainbow Drive. Valet parking is available at the porte cochère. Self-parking is located in the nearby resort garage.
    • If you’re arriving by shuttle, please disembark at the Lower Lobby shuttle terminal and take the guest elevators up to the Lobby to check in.
    • Make yourself comfortable in our Arrival & Departure Lounge located on the 3rd floor, where you can relax, take a refreshing shower, and stow your luggage until you’re ready to check in or out. Open 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Fridays.
    • Want to stay an extra night? Our rooms fill up fast. Please extend your stay in advance – at least one day prior – to guarantee a room.
