The governor of Hawaii implemented a pre-travel testing program that begins on October 15, 2020. Upon arrival to the state, trans-Pacific travelers who wish to avoid the mandatory, 14-day self-quarantine must show proof of a valid negative COVID 19 test within 72 hours of their flight to the state of Hawaii. Travelers 5 years of age or older visiting Hawaii County (also known as The Big Island) must show proof of a negative, COVID-19 test from a trusted partner taken no more than 72 hours before their trip to the county and take a second rapid test upon arrival at a county-designated facility near the airport to avoid the 14-day quarantine. HGV timeshare properties in Hawaii County may not be used for quarantine by travelers who must meet the state’s 14-day self-isolation order. This impacts all HGV properties in Waikoloa, Hawaii. Upon check-in at an HGV resort, please have your Safe Travel status ready to present. Owners and guests who are unable to do so must comply with the state of Hawaii’s 14-day self-isolation order. Hilton Grand Vacations requires all guests staying at our properties to wear face coverings in all indoor public spaces. Any government mandate requiring the use of face coverings supersedes our policy. Please be sure to bring a face covering and wear it upon arrival.

    Cozy studios with a balcony feature a bedroom with a king-size bed, bathroom with a small standard shower/tub combination, cable TV and PlayStation 3 as well as a convenient kitchenette with a small refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, dishes and utensils.

    Size: 785 sq. ft. Accommodates: 4 guests
    Spacious 1-bedroom/1-bathroom suites with a balcony feature a master bedroom with a king-size bed or two double beds, and a bathroom with a standard shower/tub combination. Suites also include a generous living room with a separate dining area, TV with cable, PlayStation 3, and queen-size sleeper sofa as well as a fully equipped kitchen.

    • Please check-in at the Lobby between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Outside these hours, please check-in at the Lobby of The Grand Waikkian, located at the corner of Kahanamoku Street and Ala Moana Boulevard.
    • If you’re arriving by car, please pull up to the porte cochère on Kahanamoku Street at the corner of Ala Moana Boulevard. Valet parking is available at the porte cochère for $59 per day. Self-parking is located in the resort garage on Kahanamoku Street for $49 per day.
    • If you’re arriving by shuttle, please disembark at the shuttle terminal and proceed to the Lobby to check in.
    • Make yourself comfortable in our Arrival & Departure Lounge inside the The Grand Waikikian located on the 8th floor, where you can relax, take a refreshing shower, and stow your luggage until you’re ready to check in or out. Open 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Fridays.
    • The Kalia Tower Pool Terrace is for adults only (guests must be at least 18 years to enter the pool area).
    • Don’t miss our fireworks show every Friday night, weather permitting. Secure a spot on the beach for an up-close look or watch from the comfort of your balcony.
    • Want to stay an extra night? Our rooms fill up fast. Please extend your stay in advance – at least one day prior – to guarantee a room.

    Self-parking is available for $49 per night in the resort garage on Kahanamoku Street. Valet parking is available at the porte cochère for $59 per night (subject to change). Electric car charging stations are also available.
