Here's Why Exclusive Events Through HGV Ultimate Access Make Vacation Ownership More Than Just Vacations

I went to an exclusive Hilton Grand Vacations event. Here’s what it was like

I recently returned home from the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. I cannot say enough good things about my experiential trip.

Something that I've thought about before but really struck me this weekend is how the benefits of my timeshare with Hilton Grand Vacations add so much more to my life than just vacations. Of course, I love vacations and traveling; otherwise, I wouldn't have become an Owner. But the tournament very much highlighted how Hilton Grand Vacations truly makes ownership an experience.

Being a Member gives me the opportunity to customize my ownership to include more events and memory-making experiences in the future through HGV Ultimate Access. With HGV, Owners did not simply attend the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions – they could have but instead, they had an opportunity to purchase exclusive ticket add-ons.

Add-on packages gave them access to an exclusive on-course tent with complimentary food and beverages, access to concerts, not to mention complimentary shuttles to all the events so you don’t even have to deal car rentals, parking or rideshare services.

My ownership has elevated my vacations and travel style and the experiences we all look forward to on vacation. Undoubtedly, Hilton Grand Vacations is taking vacation ownership to new levels by offering exclusive events to my vacations, the only timeshare company to do so

I keep telling my friends, family and coworkers that they all need to come to next year’s tournament, too. And here’s why.

It's the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions

The beautiful Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando hosted the event this year, which kicks off the LPGA season. Outside of the gorgeous ambiance, the tournament's structure combines charity, celebrity golfers and some of the best LPGA athletes in the world for a one-of-a-kind golf and entertainment event.

The Hilton Grand Vacations Hospitality

Hilton Grand Vacations’ signature hospitality was obvious during my whole vacation, from the rooms to the golf course to the evening concerts*. You have four Hilton Grand Vacations Orlando resorts to choose from for accommodations. I stayed at Tuscany Village, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club, and had a magical time.

You don’t get that kind of service anywhere else. The staff, as always, were outstanding; shuttles picked spectators up on the hour, and true to form, the rooms incredibly comfortable – not that I spent much time in it. After all, the tournament was calling!

The Unforgettable Experiences

I spent Saturday and Sunday on the course and Saturday night at a concert, and all of it was incredible. The weekend — not warm and sunny but rather cold, super windy and rainy — was so incredible that the subpar weather didn't dampen the fun of the tournament at all.

From start to finish, Saturday was amazing. I met fellow Owners and super welcoming Hilton Grand Vacations Team Members. There was so much delicious food with various stations around the course highlighting different regions of the world, and all of it was great.

I even had access to one of the exclusive tents with a great view of the 18-hole and complimentary food and drinks. And that tent came through in the clutch with the rain. I felt awful for the players and the people who didn't have access to the tents.

As for the golf access, several holes offered up-close viewing where you could be nearby the players hitting balls. Aside from great views, being so close made for some great pictures and videos where you can hear the whack of the ball – these golfers are so talented.

Overall it was a wonderful experience, and I can't stop talking about it. All of it — the days on the course enjoying all the different flavors while watching the golfers to having a blast at the evening concert, pairing delicious food with drinks and talented musicians.

Without Hilton Grand Vacations, I wouldn’t have had exclusive access to all of the action, which made the experience so special.
