COVID-19 Alert: Important Information for Hilton Grand Vacations Owners & Guests

At Hilton Grand Vacations, the safety and well-being of our Owners, guests, and Team Members is of utmost concern. We remain diligent in our commitment to provide a safe, hospitable environment for all who visit our properties. Please read below for the latest developments relating to Hilton Grand Vacations and our response to COVID-19.

Certain destinations may require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for access to local restaurants, tourist spots and on-site amenities, such as gyms, food and beverage areas and other common areas. Additional local restrictions regarding capacity and crowd size may also be enforced. As this is an evolving situation, we highly recommend you become familiar with all applicable health and government mandates before you travel to understand any requirements or restrictions that may affect your vacation experience.   • As each Hilton Grand Vacations property opens and as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold, we will be reviewing hours of operations and modifying the delivery of on-site amenities and services. During your vacation, please check with the front desk for additional information. 

    Also, hours of operations at area attractions, restaurants and other locations might have changed due to COVID-19. Before traveling, we recommend that you review your itinerary and reach out to local businesses for new hours of operations or any changes that might impact your plans.     As part of our commitment to ensure our Owners, Guests and Team Members always feel safe while staying at our resorts, while we do not mandate that Team Members get vaccinated, we highly recommend that all Team Members get vaccinated as per CDC and state guidelines and have initiated a comprehensive plan to support Team Members through the process. Hilton Grand Vacations will continue to follow all CDC guidance, as well as our Enhanced Care Guidelines.

  • Hilton Grand Vacations was informed a third-party exit company is offering Owners an option to reschedule future reservations or extend Points by paying a fee over the phone. Hilton Grand Vacations is not affiliated with this company, and we caution you against engaging with them. Complete our Incident Intake Questionnaire if you suspect you’ve been a victim of this scam.   • We remain dedicated to providing a clean and safe environment for our Owners, Guests and Team Members. That’s why, as the COVID-19 pandemic evolved, so did our focus to further evolve our standards of cleanliness at our resorts worldwide. Hilton Grand Vacation’s Enhanced Care Guidelines with Hilton CleanStay™ incorporate several steps to ensure our Owners and Guests feel confident as they think about their arrival and upcoming vacation experience.

    As the guidelines for COVID-19 continue to change, we ask that Owners and Guests follow local and state regulations as it relates to face coverings and CDC requirements.

    Continued cleaning and protection standards include: 

    • Reviewing and continuing to implement sanitation procedures across our properties.
    • Identifying high-touch areas, such as elevators and Front Desks, and implementing additional cleaning measures.
    • Redistributing team members to ensure maximum cleaning is occurring during high-volume timeframes.

  • Hilton Grand Vacations is actively monitoring the news about COVID-19 and has been closely tracking updates from local, state, federal and international health authorities. Please note the following changes for existing reservations.

    • If you are an Hilton Grand Vacations Club Member, you may cancel or modify your reservation on the Club Member website.

      In addition, we are providing a refund of transaction fees for reservations that must be canceled due to a property’s extended closure. A list of the properties impacted and the dates that must be met for this refund are listed on the
      Club News web page.

      Applicable fee refunds will be processed within 5 business days. Because each bank has a different timeframe for posting refunds, please allow 5 to 7 business days for the funds to be credited to your account.
    • If you are a hotel guest and booked via, you may change your reservation online at or by calling 1-800-HILTONS (1-800-445-8667).

    • If you made your reservation through a third party, such as Expedia, or a timeshare exchange, you will need to contact your booking provider directly for any changes or cancellations.

    • If you are an Hilton Grand Vacations Package Holder, please reach out to us by calling (800) 482-0047 (9am – 9pm EST, seven days a week) or emailing for assistance with rebooking your vacation. 

    • If you are a VIP Package Holder, please reach out to us by calling (866) 836-4482 (International Guests 407-722-3400) 10am – 9pm EST (Monday-Friday) for assistance with rebooking your vacation. 

  • We are happy to announce, Hilton Grand Vacations has re-opened many properties and will continue to do so during the coming months. See the “Resort Re-Opening Information” for the most current list of properties that are open and accepting guests. We also continue to reach out to Hilton Grand Vacations Owners and guests, informing them of date changes to reservations at properties that continue to suspend operations. If you have an upcoming reservation at one of these properties, please check your email inbox for details.


  • We encourage you, your families and all guests to follow the CDC’s guidelines on how to take precautionary steps to mitigate possible transmissions of the virus, including frequently washing your hands, not touching your face and avoiding travel to affected areas if you are at high risk.

    In addition, many healthcare officials and state governments have stated that it is advisable to avoid crowded places where transmissions could occur more easily. If you believe you are feeling ill, we encourage you to see your medical healthcare provider.

    • For information about COVID-19, including symptoms, refer to the resources provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

    • As of February 1, 2021, the CDC has issued a federal transportation mask mandate requiring all passengers to wear masks on public conveyances and transit hubs, including airports, airplanes, ships, ferries, taxis, ride-share vehicles (i.e. Uber, Lyft), buses, trains and subways. Not wearing a mask as instructed while commuting on public transportation is a violation of federal law. For more information on federal mask mandates, visit – Mask Travel Guidance.
  • As you assess your current travel plans, please keep in mind the travel notices below, which may impact your stay at an Hilton Grand Vacations property or your return home. The information below is by no means a comprehensive list of all the travel advisories, restrictions and government mandates that may impact your vacation plans.

    Travel Within the United States

    Before you travel, we encourage you to check with each city, county or state for details on any travel advisories, including quarantine orders, and other requirements such as the use of face coverings and vaccination requirements.

    If you are visiting a theme park, restaurant or a local attraction, please contact each business in advance to fully understand how they are handling the use of face coverings and vaccination requirements.


    Travel Outside the United States

    The U.S. Department of State has posted travel advisories due to the global impact of COVID-19. Before you travel, please check for specific travel advisories about the following countries:

    • Barbados
    • Italy
    • Japan
    • Mexico
    • Portugal
    • Scotland 

    International Travel Back to the United States

    As of December 6, all passengers, regardless of vaccination status or citizenship, are required to obtain a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than one day before boarding their flight to the United States. Non-U.S. citizens who are not immigrants to the United States are still required to be fully vaccinated and provide proof of their vaccination status to fly to the United States. Exceptions to this vaccination requirement for certain non-U.S. citizens who are not immigrants are limited, including children under the age of 18.     Travel Restrictions and Self-Quarantine


    Barbados is welcoming tourism, while keeping its residents and guests safe. As a result, travel guidelines may be amended as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold. Anyone arriving to the island needs to familiarize themselves with all travel protocols. Among others, travel protocols include having a valid, negative COVID-19 test and completing a Pre-arrival Online Embarkation Form within 24 hours of arrival.     Any passenger departing the United Kingdom with a final destination in the United States is encouraged to visit the CDC’s designated United Kingdom COVID-19 website for detailed information on required testing, travel restrictions and more.
