International Travel Back to the United States
Effective January 26, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is requiring air passengers ages 2 and up to show documentation of a negative COVID-19 test before boarding a plane to the United States. Travelers will be required to show documentation of either a negative, pre-departure viral test collected within 3 days before their flight’s departure to the United States, or written or electronic documentation of a positive, viral test result that confirms previous SARS-CoV-2 infection. The documentation must come from a licensed health care provider or public health official, stating that the passenger has been cleared for travel. For more information about the mandate, visit the CDC website at https://www.cdc.gov/.
Travel Restrictions and Self-Quarantine
Barbados
Barbados is welcoming tourism, while keeping its residents and guests safe. As a result, travel guidelines may be amended as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold. Anyone arriving to the island needs to familiarize themselves with all travel protocols. Among others, travel protocols include having a valid, negative COVID-19 test and completing a Pre-arrival Online Embarkation Form within 24 hours of arrival. For detailed information, go to our COVID-19 Travel to Barbados page.
Traveling from the United Kingdom & Scotland
Any passenger departing the United Kingdom with a final destination in the United States is encouraged to visit the CDC’s designated United Kingdom COVID-19 website for detailed information on required testing, travel restrictions and more.
