COVID-19 Travel to Scotland

Last Updated: June 2, 2021

Situation Summary

Starting June 5, 2021, mainland Scotland and some islands move to Level 0, 1 and 2. All guests visiting self-catering accommodations (including overnight stays) will be required to follow the Scottish Government’s COVID-19 guidance. Guests must also adhere to in-house socializing rules, if and as applicable for a region’s protection level. Additional information relating to this guidance includes:

  • Travel to and from England, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man is permitted. Travelers should check the rules of entry for each of these territories before travel.
  • Travel to any area in Scotland that falls under Level 0, 1 or 2 is permitted but travel to a Level 3 or 4 area is not allowed unless for a permitted reason.
  • As of May 17, the Scottish Government has introduced a traffic light system for international travel to Scotland. Travelers who have been in a country or area rated as red, amber and green will have quarantine processes and other restrictions associated with those colors. Entry into the country requires completion of a passenger locator form and completion of a COVID-19 test prior to arrival. To identify requirements for the country you are traveling from, visit the Scottish Government’s COVID-19 webpage dedicated to international travel.

A: Please contact the third-party service provider directly to arrange any changes or cancellations in line with their policies.

Q: We are Owners at the resort and cannot travel due to a government restriction. Will my maintenance fee be refunded?
