Hilton Grand Vacations Club Traveler Publications Win 13 Charlie Awards

This victory marks the highest number of Charlie Awards received for the vacation-ownership company’s flagship magazine

ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. 23, 2022) – Hilton Grand Vacations Inc. (NYSE:HGV) flagship magazine was recently honored with 13 Charlie Awards, the most to date in the magazine’s history, from the Florida Magazine Association (FMA). The awards recognize outstanding achievements by Florida-based publications.

This is the third consecutive year Club Traveler has been awarded Charlie Awards, and first in receiving a Charlie for Best Overall Design, in FMA’s annual competition that crowns publishers, writers, editors, artists, photographers, printers, marketers and others as the best among their peers in scores of categories.

Club Traveler qualified in the Consumer category for each award submission, competing against publications that have a circulation over 20,000. The magazine is currently distributed to HGV’s entire global Club Membership base which is comprised of more than 350,000 members. The HGV team collaborated with various highly skilled creatives on a few of the winning projects, including: photographers Tanveer Badal and Jake Naughton, writers Alexandra Owens and Nell Mauer, illustrators Giordano Poloni and Lisa Sheehan, and Isabel Jimenez, Delle Chan, Antonella Bordone and George Hilton on behalf of The Economist Group.

Since 2012, Club Traveler’s mission has been to help Club Members achieve a “vacation state of mind” through inspiring travel stories, featuring HGV’s many destinations and resorts. The magazine includes a mix of travel articles, expert planning tips and educational content to help Club Members maximize their vacation ownership with HGV. This past May, Club Traveler was awarded another prestigious industry award – an American Resort Development Association (ARDA) Award, in the Digital Magazine category. Club Traveler has also been announced as a finalist in eight categories in the 2022 Eddie & Ozzie Awards. Hosted by Folio, the Eddie & Ozzie Awards are a national magazine competition that recognizes engaging content and exceptional design in the fields of Editorial Excellence (Eddies) and Outstanding Design (Ozzies).
